Buttons and links in a broadcast
Links, Mini Apps and flows — choose a button and guide a person towards a purchase
Updated October 22, 2026
A button gives the person a next step: open a page, explore an offer or continue the conversation.
Buttons you can send
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Link | Opens the given address: a site, channel or document |
| Mini App | Opens a published page of the project's site inside Telegram |
| Flow | Starts the selected flow at the chosen node |
For a Mini App, choose a specific page. A draft that has not been published is unavailable to recipients. For a flow, choose both the flow and its starting node.
Guide people to payment
The shared post editor also has a fourth type: Payment. This button creates an order for a specific person and cannot be sent to a broadcast audience. The same restriction applies to test sends and scheduled sends.
For a broadcast, use one of these paths:
- a Mini App button opening a published offer and checkout page;
- a Flow button that shows the offer and payment button in a personal conversation;
- a Link to the purchase page of your site.
A post with a payment button can be delivered individually through a bot link. This is a separate way to receive the post, rather than a mass send of that button.
Before launching, check offer readiness and delivery. Labelling a button “Buy” does not configure payment or access.
Test and clicks
Send yourself a test, tap each button and follow it to the expected page or flow step. For a purchase, also check what happens after payment.
Use tracked links from Links when you need to count visits. Check delivery and available click metrics in the broadcast report and the person's history. Opening an arbitrary external URL does not by itself prove a purchase.
