How broadcasts work

What a broadcast is made of, who receives it, and what happens after it is sent

Updated October 22, 2026

A broadcast belongs to the project and delivers a message to a chosen audience. For Telegram, choose the sending bot; email requires configured project email and permission from recipients for those messages. Choose the audience by segment or tag.

The path of a broadcast

  1. 1

    Draft — edit as long as you like, nobody sees it

  2. 2

    Test — sent to one person, usually you. Exactly what everyone else will get

  3. 3

    Send — messages go out in a queue that respects Telegram's limits

  4. 4

    Report — how many were delivered, how many weren't and why, how many clicked

Why a message may not arrive

  • the person blocked the bot;
  • the account was deleted;
  • the bot never received a message from them.

All of it is in the report by name, and the person's Telegram state is on their card in the chat list.

Broadcasts through the agent

You don't have to assemble it by hand: tell the agent what to send and to whom. It prepares the text and buttons, shows the draft and offers a test. You confirm the send.
